After receiving rave reviews, being selected as one of Time Out’s ‘Top London Comedy Shows to See’, and Metro’s ‘best adventures to be had in London’, Taskmaster: The Live Experience will extend its run in the new year following huge demand from fans wanting to step into the shoes of their favourite comedians. The most ludicrous experience in London will now run up to Sunday 23rd February 2025. Tickets go on sale on Wednesday 20th November along with an early bird discount of 20% for the new Experience dates if booked before Saturday 30th November. Tickets can be found at taskmasterliveexperience.com.

Based on the BAFTA and National Comedy Award winning hit TV show, the experience has two unique gameplays to choose from, Melon Buffet and Absolute Casserole, each containing distinct, ridiculous and infuriating tasks set in the lab, living room, shed and other recognisable locations which get contestants battling for points, culminating in a final in the studio theatre where one player will win the Taskmaster’s seal of approval. The Experience starts and ends in our Taskmaster Garden, giving guests the chance to explore what’s really in the shed, have a photo with Linda the cow and other classic memorabilia from the world of Taskmaster, and discover more hidden tasks around the Goose Bar which serves exclusively brewed Taskmaster beer and themed cocktails. You can also visit the lovingly curated Taskmaster museum and behold your favourite props and artwork from across the 18 series of the hit TV show.

A new Family Ticket has been introduced with £10 off all adult and child tickets, and the Ticket Lottery which has previously been announced will continue into the new year for fans to win the chance to access a limited number of tickets priced at £25 pp. You can sign up to the mailing list to enter the lottery here, taskmasterliveexperience.com/ticket-lottery/. Every second Wednesday at 2pm, winners will be drawn at random and contacted by email. You will automatically be entered into the draw every week once you sign up, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

About Taskmaster:

  • Taskmaster is a BAFTA winning and International Emmy nominated comedy entertainment show originally created by Alex Horne. Greg Davies stars as the all-powerful “Taskmaster” who, with the help of his loyal assistant Horne, sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five comedians through a series of strange and surreal challenges in what is the most hard-fought and ridiculous comedy entertainment format on TV.

  • 170 episodes have been produced in the UK so far, as part of a landmark six season deal with Channel 4 in 2020, which has recently been renewed for a further six series by the broadcaster following nine record-breaking series on UKTV’s Dave.

  • Taskmaster has triumphed as one of Channel 4’s most popular programmes in recent  years, coming in as the channel’s third most streamed title of year of 2023 with 2.3 billion viewing minutes recorded across all series watched in the year. The launch episode of the latest series [S17] averaged an audience of 3.2m, with 40% of viewing coming from streaming [0-28days, all platforms]. Watched by a broad multi-generational audience, Taskmaster was Channel 4’s youngest skewing series last year, and in terms of audience share of young viewers (16-34) across last year’s series on the channel it was second only to Gogglebox in the coveted 9pm slot.  Taskmaster is also hugely popular on Channel 4 streaming, where it is available for free and, since 2021, the average views per episode [0-7Days, O+O] have grown for the title with each series. Since the programme’s initial launch in 2015 on UKTV’s Dave, Taskmaster’s audience has grown by 80% from series one to series nine.

  • Taskmaster was crowned Best Comedy Entertainment Show at the National Comedy Awards 2022 and 2023, Best Comedy Entertainment at the BAFTAs 2020 and won Best Entertainment Programme at the Broadcast Awards 2018, having previously received two more nominations for the Broadcast Awards and recently picking up its fourth BAFTA nomination for the 2023 ceremony.
