It was announced today (Thursday 27th April) that after a special week of recording The Late Late Show With James Corden (CBS) in London, the house band leader star REGGIE WATTS will perform at Shepherd’s Bush Empire on Friday 9th June. The internationally renowned vocalist / beat boxer / musician / comedian / improviser offers audiences an entirely unpredictable performance through improvising shows using only his formidable voice and looping pedals, blurring the lines between comedy and music with his unique lyrical style. Tickets go on general sale tomorrow, Friday 28th April at 4pm.
This announcement immediately follows Avalon Television’s BAFTA, Royal Television Society and Broadcast Award-nominated programme Taskmaster being commissioned for a series by Comedy Central in the USA, in which REGGIE will star as the Taskmaster, alongside ALEX HORNE as his loyal assistant.
As a solo performer, REGGIE was handpicked by CONAN O’BRIEN to open nightly on CONAN’S sold out North American Prohibited From Being Funny on Television tour.
