On February 19th, BRYONY KIMMINGS and TIM GRAYBURN will embark on a UK & Ireland tour with their autobiographical show Fake it ‘til you Make it. To date, the show has sold out every UK venue in which it has been performed, has garnered four and five star reviews across the board and has won awards around the globe.
Bryony is an outrageous, hilarious and fearless performance artist from London. Tim is an outrageous, hilarious and fearless account manager from a top advertising agency. Bryony and Tim are a couple. Bryony spends most of her life on tour, trying her best to change the world. Tim spends most of his life at a desk trying his best to sell the world. Six months into their relationship, Bryony found out that Tim suffered from severe clinical depression which he had kept a secret for a very long time.
A collaboration about clinical depression and men, Fake it ‘til you Make it is a warm and brutally honest show about the wonders and pitfalls of the human brain, the taboo of mental illness, being in love and what it takes to be a ‘real man’.

Notes to Editors
BRYONY KIMMINGS’ work centres around outlandish ‘social experiments’ that Kimmings conducts with genius, intrigue and wholehearted fearless gusto. Previous works have seen Kimmings retracing an STI to its source (Sex Idiot), spending 7 days in a controlled environment in a constant state of intoxication (7 Day Drunk) and becoming a pop star invented by a 9 year old (Credible Likeable Superstar Role Model). Kimmings’ award-winning work has toured across the world. Most recently to Soho Theatre, Antifest (Finland), Culturgest (Portugal), Fusebox Festival (Texas), Southbank Centre, Melbourne International Comedy Festival (Australia) and Lisinski Operahouse (Croatia). Kimmings also mentors artists, teaches workshops, writes an arts blog, speaks on panels and is sometimes on the telly. In 2014, Bryony Kimmings became a limited company and assembled her office team. The company is set to explore three huge topics in the next three years with some exciting new partners.
TIM GRAYBURN is an Account Director at a large advertising company in central London. Or was up until 6 months ago. Tim is now a newly transformed mental health activist and artist. He writes the blog for bryonyandtim.com, is in charge of audience correspondence (of which there is a great deal) and updates the website with the press the couple gather. Tim loves football, eating out and socialising with his mates; he is annoyingly fit and healthy, much to Bryony’s disgust.
1 in 4 of us will suffer from a mental illness in our lifetime, up to 8% of us can be struggling on any day and 70% of patients in the doctor’s queue are there for mental health reasons. It is estimated that half of male depression goes undiagnosed, yet mental health related suicide is the number one killer of men under 35 in the UK.
