Star of Mock the Week and chart-topping Off Menu podcast Ed Gamble has his first stand-up special Blood Sugar coming exclusively to Amazon Prime Video in 200 countries and territories worldwide on 19th August.
As well as being co-host on Radio X’s Sunday morning show, Ed is one of the five competitors in the forthcoming series of the multi award-winning smash hit Taskmaster (Dave) and continues his role as a regular panellist on Mock the Week (BBC Two). His TV stand-up appearances include Live At The Apollo (BBC Two), The Royal Variety Performance (ITV1), The Russell Howard Hour (Sky One), Live at the Comedy Store (Comedy Central), and Conan (TBS). His numerous guest appearances include Hypothetical (Dave), The Apprentice: You’re Fired (BBC Two), I’ll Get This (BBC Two), Richard Osman’s House of Games (BBC Two), Jon Richardson’s Ultimate Warrior (Dave), Insert Name Here (BBC Two), and Roast Battle UK (Comedy Central).
Ed’s hugely popular UK tour of his Edinburgh Festival Fringe show Blizzard has been twice extended due to extraordinary demand across the run.
Ed is also the co-host of the hugely successful mega-hit podcast Off Menu with James Acaster, which has just commenced its second series returning to #1 on the iTunes charts. He first came to prominence playing Georgie Carlton in two series of Almost Royal (BBC America/E4/Netflix) and co-wrote the fourth series of Greg Davies’ sitcom Man Down (Channel 4), as well as appearing in two episodes.
