Russell Howard is one of the UK’s most successful comedians. He has sold over 2 million tickets and has amassed over 9 million followers across his varied social media platforms, where his clips have garnered over 1 billion views. Russell first came to prominence as a regular on Mock the Week, going on to write and star in Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC), beginning on BBC Three and graduating to BBC Two for its final two seasons, where it averaged over 3 million viewers per episode.  Russell’s travelogue series, Russell Howard & Mum: Globetrotters (Comedy Central) aired for four highly acclaimed seasons. Russell also wrote and starred in six series of The Russell Howard Hour (Sky).

Russell is one of the best-selling live comedians in the world and one of the first English-speaking comedians to break international audiences.  He holds the record for the biggest ever English language stand-up show in China and broke Frank Sinatra and Barry Manilow’s record of 10 consecutive nights performing at the Royal Albert Hall. Each of his tours have been bigger than the previous. Russell Howard: Live, saw Russell perform 237 gigs in 141 cities over 30 countries. Russell will be touring throughout 2026 and 2027 with his newest and biggest ever show: Don’t Tell The Algorithm.

Russell has released six acclaimed stand-up specials. His two-part Netflix special Lubricant was the second-most watched stand-up special of 2021.

Since 2023, Russell has hosted his podcast Five Brilliant Things, which invites guests to talk about five items from their lives that bring them happiness.
