Montessori Boy

Montessori Boy is a comedy trio made up of best friends JT Tsuchiya (Asian), Julia Tesmond (Gay), and Diego Abraham (Normal) who have been comedic collaborators for 8 years and counting. After forging their friendship in the writer’s room of their college sketch group, the trio created Montessori Boy in 2022 as a way to continue making each other laugh. Since then, they’ve built an online following with their particular brand of surreal, semi-improvised comedy that heightens at breakneck speed and in deeply unexpected ways.

Montessori Boy has amassed 100k+ followers across TikTok, Instagram, X, and YouTube. They’ve gotten over 20 million views across platforms and have been called “absurdist and dumb in the very best way” by Vulture. They’ve since branched out into performing live sketch shows, with sold out shows in New York, LA, and San Francisco Sketchfest. Their filmed sketches have become more ambitious, incorporating genre elements, extended runtimes, and guest actors (including Adam Devine) while still maintaining their giddy commitment to silliness.

Montessori Boy strives to make quality work in the quantity-obsessed social media landscape. They make their videos for people, not algorithms. And if nothing else, Montessori Boy will be remembered for their innovations in the world of Two Dudes One Lesbian friend groups.
