Luke Kempner

Luke Kempner is a comedian, actor and impressionist, currently starring in the iconic comic role Thénardier in the West End production of Les Miserables at the Sondheim Theatre. Through his regular appearances on Steph’s Packed Lunch (Channel 4) and Love Island: The Morning After podcast co-hosted by Sam Thompson, Luke is fast establishing himself as a household name. He’s one of the UK’s hottest impressionists and has a huge online following with his contemporary takes on pop culture mimicry, amassing over 3 million views through his viral sketch videos including, ‘Alternative Love Island’ and ‘Alternative Game of Thrones.’ Some of his most recognisable impressions include, Louis Theroux, Donald Trump, Sir Ian McKellen, Jeremy Clarkson and Jürgen Klopp, to name a few.

Luke sold out his 2023 Edinburgh Fringe Festival run with his acclaimed show, Gritty Police Drama: One Man Musical, which sees him pack an incredible 60 impressions into 60 minutes. In a show unlike any other Luke combines razor sharp wit with incisively accurate imitations of internationally recognisable characters, TV celebrities, social media superstars, fellow comedians, notorious politicians and famous sports stars to create an immensely fun yet compelling performance.

In 2020 Luke joined the cast of the revived hit TV show, Spitting Image (Britbox) and in 2023 he lent his voice to over 30 characters in Idiots Assemble: Spitting Image The Musical which ran for 13 weeks on the West End. Luke created and starred in his own review show for ITV2, entitled Luke Kempner’s Impression of 2015 and was the resident comedian on Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit On The Side (Channel 5) for 9 series. He is also a regular on BBC Radio 4’s topical comedy institutions The Now Show and News Jack as well as Helen Skelton’s show on BBC Radio 5 Live.
