Lily Du

Lily Du is a Chinese-American writer and actor based in LA. She got her start improvising at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York, where she performed on Harold Night and across the country with their Touring Company. She is a former cast member at CollegeHumor, where she wrote and performed in weekly sketches with millions of views. She currently hosts the show boozy story-telling show “Dirty Laundry” on the popular Dropout streaming platform.

As an actor, she has appeared in television shows such as New Amsterdam, FBI, Broad City, and Happy! as well as the Williamstown Theatre Festival and numerous commercials. She has also hosted and been featured in videos on MTV’s Decoded, Funny Or Die and Comedy Central.

Lily was a staff writer on “The Me And You Show” for Snapchat and wrote a short-form series about girls in STEM for Amy Poehler’s Smart Girls. She has written joke punch-ups on “PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie” and for Megan Thee Stallion. She has written two half hour pilots: one dramedy about toxic girl-boss feminism and one workplace sitcom set at an Asian test prep center, and she’d love for you to read them.

Lily grew up in Rockville, MD, and is a Smith College alum.
