Joyce Wong is an award-winning director and writer, who just wrapped THE STICKY for Amazon, with producers including Jamie Lee Curtis and Jason Blum. Joyce won the Outstanding Directorial Achievement in a Comedy Series from the DGC for her directing on BARONESS VON SKETCH (CBC). Joyce most recently directed episodes for BET for Netflix, SPENCER SISTERS for CTV and eOne, as well as 3 episodes of SORT OF for HBO Max and 2 blocks of the new Netflix comedy series FAKES, which just came out. Joyce also is best known for directing on THE STRAYS (CBC GEM), the KIM’S CONVENIENCE spinoff, RUN THE BURBS (CBC GEM), SHELVED (CTV) and WORKIG MOMS (CBC/NETFLIX). Joyce has been described by the LA Times as a “major talent to watch.” Joyce’s comedy feature WEXFORD PLAZA screened at Slamdance, was awarded the Comcast Best Narrative Feature Award by the Center for Asian American Media and was nominated for the Toronto Film Critics Association’s Best Canadian Film Award.
