Writer, comedian, and actor Jorge Luis Lopez is a profoundly silly rising star in LA’s stand up comedy scene. Originally from the Bay Area, he moved down to LA to attend UCLA, work at a law firm, take the LSAT, apply to law school, give up on applying to law school, then impulsively quit his job and pursue his comedy dreams. Jorgehas brought his unique brand of comedy to clubs and cities all over the country, performing at the SJ Improv, Laughs Unlimited, Hollywood Improv, The World Famous Comedy Store, The Laugh Factory, and many many more.
Jorge is a paid regular at the Westside Comedy Theater and The Crow in Santa Monica. In 2025 he was a finalist in Nice Crowd’s Breakout Comedian of the Year, showcasing in front of over 1,000 people at their sold out show in Washington DC.
