Jamal Russell is a stand-up comedian based in Washington, D.C. In 2025, he was a New York Comedy Festival 2025 Comic to Watch, placed as a top-three finalist in Don’t Tell Comedy’s inaugural national competition, and was selected as one of just 40 comics to showcase for NBC’s Comedy Hour. Jamal performs regularly at the D.C. Improv and has opened for Ian Lara and Dave Attell.
