Cory Snearowski

Cory Snearowski is a writer, filmmaker, and comedian based in New Jersey. Cory was recently in a writer’s mini-room for Jordan Mendoza’s sketch show, set up at Adult Swim and coming out next year. Snearowski co-created, co-starred, and co-wrote the fictional scripted podcast, THIS IS BRANCHBURG, WITH BRENDAN AND CORY, also produced by Abso Lutely Productions. Vulture calls it “Northern Exposure meets Twin Peaks” and the A.V. Club calls it a “delicate balance… between absurdism, dark comedy, and genuine folksy charm.” Vulture recently named it the Best Comedy Podcast Miniseries of 2019, and The Verge named it one of their Favorite Podcasts of 2019. Season two is produced by Adult Swim. Cory’s 2022 short film, PLAYDATE, and 2021 short film, I SUPPOSE I’M AN INCONVENIENCE, were selected for the Slamdance Film Festival. His short film BRANCHBURG, made with Brendan O’Hare and Abso Lutely Productions, was named by Vulture Magazine as one of the Best Comedy Videos of 2018. His additional short films have been selected and featured on NoBudge, Rooftop Films Summer Series, Vimeo’s Staff Picks, and many more. His work has been published by The Onion and ClickHole, and he has been personally featured in USA Today, Vulture, AV Club, and Paste Magazine.
