Andrew Doherty is a queer comedy writer and performer from Manchester, and co-founder of sketch comedy duo Megan from HR with Ambika Mod.
Andrew‘s first solo show Gay Witch Sex Cult is a queer folk horror comedy which has enjoyed sell out runs in London at VAULT Festival, King’s Head Theatre, Pleasance Islington and a run at Brighton Fringe where he won the Comedy Award. It had a sell-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe and three sell-out runs at the Soho Theatre in London.
His second show Sad Gay Aids Play received rave reviews at the Edinburgh Fringe, selling out every night and was nominated for the Uprise Award.
