Mid-way through a fiercely fought competition on BAFTA winning Taskmaster, the critically-acclaimed comedian Chloe Petts has announced that they will embark on a brand-new stand-up tour with ‘Call Me By My Surname’, kicking off with a two-week run at London’s Soho Theatre from 25th January, before touring across to UK and Ireland from 7thFebruary to 27th May. Petts returns with a new stand-up hour of their trademark cerebral laddishness. After four successful smash-hit tours, their fifth comedy show examines Petts’ newfound identity as a Passenger Princess, a tricksy snake called Medusa, and the trials and tribulations of being the only sober one at a Pitbull concert. Petts is back with their most honest and personal show yet.
Petts is fast becoming a regular fixture on our screens. As well as starring in the latest series of Taskmaster (Channel 4), they recently made their fourth appearance on Have I Got News For You (BBC). Elsewhere on television and radio they have starred on Live at the Apollo (BBC), featured on Hannah Gadsby’s Gender Agenda (Netflix), appeared on The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice (Channel 4), and created and wrote their own BBC Radio 4 show,Toilet Humour, a five-part series about the history of the loo. Previously, Petts has had their own regular segment on Sky Sports News as well as MOTDx (BBC Three). They have also been a regular on The Frank Skinner Show (Absolute Radio), World Cup Breakfast (Sky Sports) and Good Morning Euros (Sky Sports).
As a live performer, Petts was nominated for Chortle Awards Breakthrough Act, is an alumnas of the prestigious Pleasance Comedy Reserve, has been shortlisted for the BBC New Comedy Award, was a finalist of Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year Awards and came runner-up in the Funny Women Awards. Chloe supported Ed Gamble’s last wo sell-out tours and previously supported Frank Skinner’s West End run and UK tour, as well as being selected to perform at the prestigious Melbourne International Comedy Festival three times.
