15th June 2026 – In advance of starting his biggest tour to date with brand-new show UH OH, Phil Wang (Wonka, That’s My Time with David Letterman, Late Night with Seth Meyers, Live at the Apollo) has announced a major extension – 24 extra dates – through 2027.
From 11th September to 23rd May 2027, Phil is now set to perform 67 shows across the UK and Ireland, including three performances at Exeter Corn Exchange and two at Soho Theatre Walthamstow (24th September and 18th November), Nottingham Theatre Royal, Bristol Beacon, Oxford New Theatre and Birmingham Alexandra Theatre, alongside dates at Manchester Opera House, York Barbican, Leeds Grand Theatre, Cardiff New Theatre, Newcastle Theatre Royal, Dublin’s Vicar Street, Belfast’s Ulster Hall, Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, Glasgow Theatre Royal, Brighton Dome, Edinburgh King’s Theatre, and a third London performance at the Eventim Apollo, Hammersmith on 25th February 2027.
UH OH. Phil’s back with a new stand-up show, and he’s older than ever before. He’s got a moustache now. It bristles with wisdom. His eyes shine with good humour. His shoulders groan under the weight of being the only cool millennial left. Everyone’s an idiot but him. Nice is out. Right is in. The vibe shift is real. Old Wang’s riding it.
An exclusive 24-hour fan pre-sale for extension tickets begins 10am on Thursday 25th June, ahead of general sale from 10am on Friday 26th June. Further information is available at www.philwang.co.uk
Earlier this year, Phil took Uh Oh to the Melbourne International Comedy Festival for a hit 22-show run, with further international dates for the tour to be announced soon.
The news arrives following Phil recently completing his first judging duties on BBC Two’s Great British Menu and appearing in the romantic comedy film Finding Emily alongside Angourie Rice, Spike Fearn and Minnie Driver. Other on-screen credits include Phil’s second critically acclaimed Netflix special, Wang in There, Baby!, which was the sole non-US act to be recognised in The New York Times’ “Best Comedy of 2024,” making his film debut alongside Timothée Chalamet in Wonka, performing stand-up on Late Night with Seth Meyers (NBC), and being interviewed by chat show royalty on That’s My Time with David Letterman (Netflix). He has also appeared as a guest on The Graham Norton Show (C4) , featured in Inside Amy Schumer (Comedy Central), Life & Beth (Hulu), The Comedy Line-Up (Netflix), Taskmaster (Channel 4), Live at the Apollo (BBC2), and has made sixteen appearances on Have I Got News For You (BBC1).
As a host, Phil has fronted the prestigious BAFTA Games Awards twice, the world’s leading annual celebration of excellence and creative achievement in gaming, bringing the ceremony to a global audience.
As an author, Phil released his first book, Sidesplitter, to critical acclaim, featuring on The Times and Sunday Times’ Books of the Year list. In this combined comic memoir and observational essay, he reflects on his experiences as a Eurasian man in the West and in the East.
On audio, Phil has previously written and starred in his own Radio 4 special, Wangsplaining which won Best Scripted Comedy (Longform) at the BBC Audio Awards, co-hosted three series of BBC Radio 4’s Unspeakable with Susie Dent, fronted the Audible original series Phil Wang Hates Horror, and co-hosted the hit podcast BudPod with Pierre Novellie.
Phil’s previous tour, Wang in There, Baby!, ran internationally over two years, taking him to the USA – including two sold-out shows in Los Angeles as part of the Netflix Is A Joke Festival – Canada, where he performed at Montreal’s Just For Laughs Comedy Festival, Australia, both on tour and at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, New Zealand, and the UK, where a 64-date tour was extended twice, including sold-out performances at London’s Royal Festival Hall and Hammersmith Eventim Apollo.
