Unruly, ridiculous, and surprisingly satisfying, the six-headed comedy band The Horne Section have announced that they will film their latest show ‘The Horne Section’s Hit Show’ for a brand-new comedy special. Fronted by Alex Horne (creator and host of BAFTA and Rose D’Or winning Taskmaster) and his actually talented band, they will film at The Royal Shakespeare Society in Stratford-upon-Avon, tuning up their instruments they will perform two shows at 6pm and 9:30pm on Thursday 4th June. This is the final time fans will have a chance to see the hit show.

The Horne Section’s Hit Show has enjoyed a huge 60+date tour across the UK and Ireland which was extended to meet overwhelming demand for tickets, and saw them perform at London’s Palladium Theatre, Salford’s Lowry, Birmingham’s Symphony Hall and Dublin’s Vicar Street among many other venues.
Performing still-soon-to-be top hits, the six-headed musical comedy band bring their trademark chaotically raucous musical stylings to an array of songs. Expect plentiful enthusiastic dancing, party games, and a lot of mucking about.

“It’s a thoroughly endearing affair- Horne’s long-running band share an obvious personal and comic chemistry. Crucially, like the Flight of the Concords before them, their musical chops are comfortably up to the task of composing briskly amusing ditties in whatever genre takes their fancy”
Phil Harrison, The Guardian
“clever, chaotic sitcom… Alex and his band, who he’s played with for more than a decade, show off their musical talent and songwriting skills to great effect”
Stuart Pink, The Sun
“This is my favourite kind of comedy: a silly surreal sitcom. Fans of hit TV show Taskmaster will know Alex Horne as Greg Davies’s sidekick; theirs is one of TV’s great double acts, in the mould of Morecambe and Wise, Reeves and Mortimer, Patsy and Edina, and Trinny and Susannah”
Sarah Vine, Daily Mail
“ingenious and engagingly playful”
John Dugdale, The Sunday Times
“It all makes for barmy, yet wonderfully original TV”
