TUNE IN: THE HORNE SECTION PODCAST RETURNS WITH A TENTH SERIES

LONDON – Wednesday 5th March 2025 – The hit comedy podcast The Horne Section Podcast returns to the airwaves with a tenth series of iTunes chart topping audio mayhem. Alex Horne and his excellent and stupid band The Horne Section have recorded eight new episodes of the Best Comedy Podcast (Shortlist) which will air weekly from today and can be found on the link here.

‘Britian’s funniest band’ (The Guardian) present their tastiest dollop of musical nonsense so far. There are at least twenty brand new songs, quite a few actually quite good jokes and a dramatic dystopian thriller called Sticky Streets. Find it in all the usual podcast places and enjoy eight original concept albums. They’re the only band recording on the fly like this, probably, so subscribe and spread the word.

The news arrives as The Horne Section extend ‘The Horne Section’s Hit Show’ tour, making it their biggest yet with 60 dates across the UK, which continues this year from 10th March up to 19th November 2025, including a return performance at London’s iconic Palladium Theatre with an extra show on Tuesday 7th October 2025. Tickets can be found at thehornesection.com.

Having starred in their debut sitcom The Horne Section TV Show on Channel 4, which is returning for a second series soon, and was described as “riotously fun… [and] an utter delight” (The Guardian ★★★★), and “a first-class comedy” (The Sunday Times Online). Their previous TV credits include being featured on Channel 4’s The Last Leg including Last Leg Christmas Special and Last Leg: The Last Leg of the Year, and being the in-house band on BBC One’s Peter Crouch’s Year Late Euros and Peter Crouch’s Save Our Summer, which Horne also co-hosted. They have featured in Dictionary Corner on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown (Channel 4), The Royal Variety Performance 2018 (ITV), as well as the 2 hour special The Horne Section Television Programme on UKTV’s Dave filmed at the London Palladium, while the band have hosted three series of Alex Horne Presents The Horne Section on BBC Radio 4.
