TRAVIS JAY – STAR OF NETFLIX’S SUPACELL AND BBC SITCOM RUM PUNCH – COMMENCES DEBUT UK TOUR

“Travis Jay shows he is a polished performer with the wit and charm to say important things to the masses without them even noticing” Nooruddean Choudry, JOE

“a triumph of attitude… energetically entertaining” Steve Bennett, Chortle

“he’s amazing” Dave Chappelle

This month sees comedian and actor Travis Jay (SUPACELL, Rum Punch, Black, British and Funny, The Stand Up Sketch Show) commence his debut 2024 UK stand-up tour, Travisty. Starting in Nottingham on Wednesday 18th September, the tour will see him play 26 dates across the country, including a show at London’s Earth Theatre on Saturday 23rd November. The tour comes off the back of Travis’ break-out performance in Netflix’s hit superhero drama SUPACELL, earlier this year, as well as the transmission of his own brand new audience sitcom, Rum Punch, on BBC Radio 4.

Travis is one of the most exciting up and coming names in comedy. His previous stand-up show, Son of David,  enjoyed a sold out show at London’s Bloomsbury Theatre and week-long run at Soho Theatre. Travis has also supported Dave Chapelle on his Sticks & Stones London tour and Britain’s Got Talent winner Kojo Amin on tour across the UK.  Elsewhere on television, Travis was a regular on Late Night Mash (Dave), a writer and voice artist for the rebooted Spitting Image (BritBox) and has appeared on shows including The Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV2), Black, British & Funny (Channel 4) and Drunk History and Comedy Central Live (Comedy Central), and as an actor on Princess Mirror-Belle (CBBC) and Deep Fake Neighbour Wars (ITVX).
