Host of Virgin Radio’s Drivetime show, comedian and presenter MATT RICHARDSON brings his debut show Slash to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe this summer, performing at the Gilded Balloon Dining Room from 2nd – 27th August at 9:30pm.  He will then head out on a nationwide tour from 9th September, including a performance at London’s Leicester Square Theatre on 29th November.

Slash tells the story of MATT’s transformation from student stand-up to primetime TV presenter in just a few short, strange years.  Along the way he has achieved the awards and acclaim other young comics can only dream of – first being named Heat Magazine’s Weird Crush of the Year in 2014, before going on to feature in erotic fan fiction available on some of the internet’s most prestigious erotic fan fiction websites.

Following his success as a stand-up MATT has quickly been making a name for himself on TV and radio.  He is the only comedian presenting on Virgin Radio, as host of the Drivetime show, and will be broadcasting from Edinburgh every weekday during the Fringe from 4 – 7pm.  He has also hosted shows including The Xtra Factor (ITV2), Just Tattoo Of Us (MTV) and Celebrity Haunted Hotel Live (W), and has appeared on Never Mind the Buzzcocks (BBC Two), Celebrity Juice (ITV2), Drunk History (Comedy Central), Sweat the Small Stuff (BBC Three), It’s Not Me It’s You (Channel 5), Fake Reaction (ITV2), and I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Now! (ITV2).
