THÜNDERBARDS RETURN TO EDINBURGH FESTIVAL FRINGE WITH BRAND NEW SHOW ‘4ND’

Without question one of the funniest sketch shows on the Fringe
GQ

Comedians, actors, writers and nice young men GLENN MOORE and MATT STEVENS will return to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe as their critically acclaimed sketch duo alter-egos THÜNDERBARDS with their brand new show 4nd, performing at the Gilded Balloon Dining Room from 2nd – 27th August at 3:15pm.

With their high-energy, fast-paced style quickly gaining them a reputation as “one of the UK’s most promising emerging sketch acts” (Ed Fest Magazine), 4nd will see the UK’s most thünderous bards return with more off-beat sketches, off-beat characters, and off-beat jokes as they present another hour of their trademark blink-and-you’ll-miss-it sketches.

THÜNDERBARDS are worried. They’re anxious. They’re in their late 20s and doing sketch comedy because one can’t hold down a job and the other’s just come out of the only relationship he’s ever been in. They’ve turned to a sketch show about failure to work out if this is the best use of their time, or if they should face the real world.

4nd is GLENN and MATT’s fourth show as THÜNDERBARDS, following 2015’s Chapter III, 2014’s Seconds, and their 2013 self-titled debut.  They’ve also appeared on BBC Radio 4’s Sketchorama, and are staff writers on the CITV’s flagship sketch show Scrambled.

Away from THÜNDERBARDS, GLENN has toured the UK as a stand-up supporting DAVE GORMAN, LEE NELSON, and JOSIE LONG. His 2016 solo show Glengarry Glen Glenn was nominated for Best Debut Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival, and was one of the best-reviewed debut shows of last year’s Edinburgh Fringe.  MATT is also an improviser with one of London’s leading long-form improv acts, DO NOT ADJUST YOUR STAGE.  The group has enjoyed residencies at the Natural History Museum and the National Gallery, and as a member MATT has performed across Europe and the USA, including at the prestigious UCB Theatre in New York and the COP21 Climate Conference in Paris.
