EDINBURGH 2013: MARK SMITH – THE MOST ASTONISHING NAME IN COMEDY

Elderly child MARK SMITH (Russell Howard’s Good News BBC Three, Nick Helm’s Heavy Entertainment BBC Three and RUSSELL KANE tour support) presents his hotly anticipated debut stand up hour at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Expect laughs/fun/the death of an audience member (delete as applicable) as he tackles such thorny issues as elevators, earworms and the crushing realisation that all your ambitions are going unfulfilled, right guys! There’s also a joke about wanking.

One half of hotly-tipped double act DREGS alongside MAX DICKINS and one quarter of The Comedy Zone 2012, come and see all of MARK this time round (MARK will be performing for between 52 and 56 minutes depending on how the show is going.) Out of the vast number of stand-up shows at this year’s fringe, this is the ONLY one to be at this particular venue at this exact time.

MARK was a finalist in 2009’s So You Think You’re Funny competition, has appeared on Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC Three), presented on MTV2 and has written for 8 Out of 10 Cats (Channel 4). MARK also performs warm-up for Have I Got News For You (BBC One) and Room 101 (BBC One).
MARK can currently be seen gigging up and down the country at some of the best comedy clubs in the UK or in his room contemplating his future and looking on Twitter.
