CRAIG CAMPBELL EMBARKS ON BRAND NEW AUTUMN TOUR: THRILLING MIC HUNT

Hot on the heels of his twice extended 2012 nationwide Craig Campbell Live tour, internationally acclaimed stand-up and master storyteller CRAIG CAMPBELL will once again hit the road this autumn with his brand new show – Thrilling Mic Hunt, playing at venues nationwide from 7th November, and concluding at London’s Bloomsbury Theatre on Tuesday 3rd December.

Surfing the awesome momentum of his recent Channel 4 DVD recording at London’s Bloomsbury Theatre, a continuing lumberific Lumberjack tour and another Edin-ormous Edinburgh festival run, our merry Moose returns with more rib-tickling stories of life as a perpetually fun-seeking middle aged manchild. It’s time to grab an adventurous date, launch your laughter canoe and ride Campbell’s comedy creek while it’s in full flood!

CRAIG recently supported FRANKIE BOYLE on his 120 date nationwide tour and has performed on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow (BBC One), Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC Three), and was responsible for easing the contractions of an expectant mother who laughed so hard at his performance on Dave’s One Night Stand (Dave) – which detailed an encounter with a badger – that her waters broke.

CRAIG was the host of Canada’s legendary Ed’s Night Party, and headline guest on numerous Canadian TV shows including Jim Carrey Live, The Dennis Miller Show and Just for Laughs. He is a firm fringe favourite having made his Edinburgh debut alongside TONY LAW and DAN ANTOPOLSKI as part of comedy trio The Dinks which won great critical and box office success, leading to an invitation to perform in the Best Of Edinburgh programme in New York. He has supported RICH HALL on his international tour and has had two successful solo shows in Edinburgh. In 2012, and after a 15 year break, CRAIG and his fellow Canadian comedians STEWART FRANCIS and GLENN WOOL took the Edinburgh Fringe by storm with the reprisal of their critically acclaimed show, Return of the Lumberjacks, and are currently touring the UK together with the show.
