Rob Delaney is an American actor, writer, comedian, and author who most recently can be seen reprising his role of Peter in DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE. The film broke the worldwide box office earnings record for an R-rated film. Rob can also currently be seen opposite Vince Vaughn in the series BAD MONKEY, based on the novel by Carl Hiaasen, adapted by Bill Lawrence, now streaming on Apple TV+. Rob can next be seen the FX original series DYING FOR SEX opposite Michelle Williams.
Rob can recently be seen in the Matthew Vaughn feature ARGYLLE opposite Henry Cavill, and in Christopher McQuarrie’s MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – DEAD RECKONING PART ONE. Rob was a breakout star as the fan favorite “Peter W.” in DEADPOOL 2 – the newest (and beloved) member to the X-Force who has no powers but “just responded to the ad.”
Rob can be seen in BLACK MIRROR, Amazon’s THE POWER, the indie film LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT, Showtime’s THE MAN WHO FELL TO EARTH opposite Chiwetel Ejiofor, Paul Feig’s Netflix feature, THE SCHOOL FOR GOOD AND EVIL, Disney+’s HOME SWEET HOME ALONE opposite Ellie Kemper, as well as Amblin’s THE GOOD HOUSE with Sigourney Weaver, and Judd Apatow’s THE BUBBLE. Rob also starred opposite Charlize Theron, Margot Robbie and Nicole Kidman in BOMBSHELL for Lionsgate in addition to a hilarious supporting role in FAST & FURIOUS: HOBBS & SHAW.
Rob is also widely known as the co-creator and co-star of the critically acclaimed Channel 4 and Amazon Prime comedy CATASTROPHE, which broadcast for four seasons in over 130 countries around the world. In 2016, Rob was nominated for a Primetime Emmy alongside his co-creator, Sharon Horgan, for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series.
Rob has also written two memoirs. His second book “A Heart That Works” was released in 2022 to rave reviews and was a New York Times Bestseller.
He currently resides in London.
