London, 8 June 2026 – Avalon has secured the first non-English language adaptation of its hit factual entertainment format Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly, with leading Hungarian broadcaster TV2 commissioning a local version of the series.
TV2 has ordered the series, which is now in production. A Hungarian dog trainer will front the series, with casting currently underway.
The original UK version (which features British expert dog trainer Graeme Hall) has helped countless dog owners tackle their pets’ most challenging behaviour. Every episode delivers emotional transformation, practical takeaways and genuinely entertaining behaviour from both the dogs and their owners. The long-running series remains Channel 5’s highest-performing factual entertainment format over the past five years, with Series 8 currently on air and the show having recently passed a landmark 100 episodes.
The format has also proven a strong performer internationally. Network 10 in Australia commissioned an initial eight-episode run of Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly Australia in 2023, expanding to 10 episodes for the second season, with a third season recently airing. The original UK series has been acquired by broadcasters across the globe, including Seven Network (Australia), ProSiebenSat.1 (Germany), TV4 (Sweden), AMC Networks International (Iberia) and M6 (France).
