HBO and Netflix star Ahir Shah (Mock The Week, Have I Got News For You, QI) has announced a brand new tour. The award winning comedian will perform a new hour, ‘Golden’ across the UK, including a 12-night Soho Theatre run from Monday 5th – Saturday 17th October.

Ahir is one of the most critically acclaimed stand-up comedians of his generation, cementing his place on the comedy scene as an outstanding writer and performer with his signature style of intricately crafted gags and electric performance. His previous tour with his Edinburgh Comedy Award winning show, ‘Ends’, saw him do a 5-week sold out residency at London’s Soho Theatre and sold out extra shows at London’s Royal Court Theatre – where ‘Ends’ was recorded and released as his debut Netflix stand-up special. Ahir has performed across the globe, at the Netflix is a Joke festival in Los Angeles, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Adelaide Fringe, Just for Laughs in Montreal and has toured across India.

 

On TV, film and radio, Ahir’s appearances have included Jurassic World 3, Foundation (Apple TV), Live at the Apollo (BBC Two), Have I Got News For You (BBC One), QI (BBC Two), Mock the Week (BBC Two), Frankie Boyle’s New World Order (BBC Two), The Mash Report (BBC Two), The Last Leg (Channel 4), Richard Osman’s House of Games (BBC 2) and The Now Show (BBC Radio Four). He has also created, written and starred in Ahir Shah’s Summer (Sky Arts), Ahir Shah’s Life Lessons (BBC Three) and Seven Blunders of the World (BBC Radio 4). The international smash-hit show Ends, which was notably listed in Vulture’s ‘5 New Comedy Specials You Should Definitely Watch’, was Ahir’s second recorded comedy special following Dots, which was released on HBO Max in 2021.
