“arch good humour and high-quality gags tightly packed inside other gags, ready to jack-in-the-box out and multiply the surprise… ingenious” ★★★★
Brian Logan, The Guardian
“generous, surprising and joyous overthinking… If you don’t like one ingenious idea or aside, don’t worry, there’s another three coming in a moment.” ★★★★
Dominic Maxwell, The Times
“Stevie Martin’s densely-packed show peeking behind the curtain of online stardom begs repeat visits… a clever, knowing and, crucially, hilarious, hour” ★★★★
Ashley Davies, The Scotsman

Tickets are on sale now. Full dates and tickets at steviemartin.com
Stevie’s new show is like her online stuff but she’ll be on a stage and you can’t pause her to get a snack. Also, you have to sit in a specific room to watch it (please don’t bring your snacks to this room). Expect stone cold bangers (jokes) and red hot jokes (bangers) plus 288 projector slides depicting crucial content (banging jokes). As a live performer, Stevie first debuted as a solo artist in 2018, after being a third of cult sketch group Massive Dad. During the pandemic, Stevie immediately pivoted to online, gaining millions of views for her sketches across Twitter, Instagram and TikTok as well as hosting a weekly comedy show on Twitch. Her prolific online output won her a Chortle Award in 2021.
Appearing on Taskmaster Series 19 earlier this year, Stevie is also co-writing and starring in Mitchell & Webb’s brand-new sketch show, Mitchell & Webb Are Not Helping, and has recently starred in the second series of The Horne Section TV Show (All Channel 4). Alongside two hit podcasts (Nobody Panic with Tessa Coates and Might Delete Later with Gina Martin), Stevie is also the host of the BBC Radio 4’s popular open-door sketch show DMs Are Open. A regular face on television, Stevie has starred and appeared on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown (Channel 4), Starstruck (BBC/HBO Max), Breeders (FX/SKY), The Mash Report/Late Night Mash (BBC/DAVE), Comedians Giving Lectures (DAVE), Guessable (Comedy Central) and The Emily Atack Show (ITV2). Elsewhere on radio, Stevie has appeared on BBC Radio 4’s The Now Show, Fresh From The Fringe and Sketchorama. A writer published everywhere from Vice to the Guardian, for television Stevie has written on The Russell Howard Hour (Sky), Red Flag (Channel 4), co-written, co-starred in and co-produced several BBC Three Quickies, and written and starred in numerous sketches including for Acer, Ocado and Thorntons. Stevie’s first book, Nobody Panic, was published by Hodder Studios and adapts her hit podcast.
Further praise for Stevie Martin’s ‘clout’
“hi tech humour with insanely inventive yet silly jokes… wonderful running gags” ★★★★
Bruce Dessau, Beyond the Joke
“successfully brings that online visual hilarity to the stage, via twin immersive screens assaulting your senses with messages from her phone and laptop while Stevie hardly catches breath between gags.” ★★★★
Dave Esson, Daily Express
“This is a proper funny show… feels curiously fresh in its insistent refusal to do anything more than be really, really funny… full of brilliant, Russian-doll type skits where anecdotes and observations keep on folding in on each other in unexpected ways.” ★★★★
Greg Thomas, The List
“true triumphant… Bending space and time and comedic prowess, Martin’s clout is one of the higher quality Fringe stand-up shows in this year’s roster” ★★★★
Sophie Layton, EdFringe Review
“Fast-paced jokes, fit for an audience of TikTok-warped attention spans, build a strong set with a deceivingly complex structure of which any experienced Fringe performer would be proud.” ★★★★
Peter Napier, EdFringe Review
