Set to return to Channel 5 in the new year, the nation’s favourite Master Dog Trainer, Graeme Hall, is back with a brand new seventh series of Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly. Graeme will once again be crisscrossing the country, coming to the aid of frustrated and desperate owners struggling with their out-of-control canines. His mantra remains simple; any dog, any size, any problem. Armed with his straightforward guidance, easy-to-follow training techniques, and long-lasting fixes, Graeme is determined to restore harmony between owner and furry four-legged friend. Yet, more often than not, it’s the owners that need the most training and that’s the hardest challenge for him.
In the opening episode of the new series, Graeme’s first stop is Telford, Shropshire, where he meets Stephanie and her dotty Dalmatian, Horace, who has the boundless energy of 101 Dalmatians. Stephanie got Horace as a companion after her divorce, but his incessant social antics are ruining her love life. To make matters more challenging, Horace is profoundly deaf. Faced with this unique challenge, will Graeme be able to teach a deaf dog new tricks?
Deep in the Derbyshire woodlands, Graeme meets retired army officer Lloyd and his wife Julie, who are locked in a constant battle with their Working Cocker, Flynn—a dog with a dangerous obsession: sticks. The bigger, the better. Flynn will uproot anything he can get his chops around, and once he’s got his fix, convincing him to let go is a real struggle. His dangerous habit has already landed him in hospital, and now the couple are terrified it’s only a matter of time before he gets into a sticky situation he can’t get out of.
For his final visit of the episode, Graeme heads over to the tranquil town of Chesham to help Married at First Sight star Paul and his Bantam Bulldog Jasmine. After relocating away from London for a more peaceful life, Paul thought getting a dog would be the perfect way to enjoy it, but unfortunately, Jasmine has other ideas. She just loves to go on a wild goose chase after the local wildlife and now Paul’s becoming famous for all the wrong reasons. Will Graeme be able to make them the perfect match?
