SOCIAL MEDIA RECORD-BREAKER SIMON BRODKIN EXTENDS ‘SCREWED UP’ TOUR FOR A FOURTH TIME TO MEET HUGE DEMAND FOR TICKETS

“No show has made me laugh more…. Time, on this evidence, for Simon Brodkin to be a big name in his own right” ★★★★
Dominic Maxwell, The Times

“a full-on rat-a-tat gag fest” ★★★★
Mark Wareham, The Mail on Sunday

Simon Brodkin, who recently became the most viewed British stand-up comedian on TikTok, has announced extra dates for his already extended sell-out UK and European hit tour, Screwed Up. Dates have been added in the biggest theatres across the UK, including a further two nights at London’s iconic Eventim Apollo, taking the tour to a total of 160 shows. Having decided to leave the characters and the stunts behind, Simon is enjoying a break-through year, making a much lauded appearance on the Royal Variety Performance, smashing records on social media and establishing himself as one of Britain’s most exciting stand-up comedians.

In Screwed Up Simon rips into celebrity culture, social media, the police, Putin, Prince Andrew and explains why Winston Churchill was no better than a coked-up Millwall fan. Nothing is off limits in this hilarious show, including his own mental health, his family, his five arrests, and how he found himself at an underground sex party.

Simon has become a social media sensation, breaking records on TikTok with a routine about climate change viewed over 40 million times.

Over the years Simon made global headlines multiple times for his audacious stunts including showering disgraced former FIFA president Sepp Blatter with bank notes, handing Theresa May a P45 at her catastrophic party conference, and surrounding Donald Trump with hundreds of specially branded golf balls (and managing not to get shot by the US secret service). Britain’s Greatest Hoaxer (Channel 4), which followed Simon as he planned and executed several stunts, was nominated for Best Documentary at the Monte Carlo TV Festival Golden Nymph Awards 2018.

Simon also created the irrepressible comedy character Lee Nelson (“comedy legend” The Sun), enjoying three hugely successful BBC series with Lee Nelson’s Well Good Show and Lee Nelson’s Well Funny People. Simon has performed on Live at the Apollo three times, Sunday Night at the Palladium, The John Bishop Christmas Show, Children In Need, Channel 4’s Comedy Gala, The Royal Variety Performance and many more TV shows.
