SIMON BRODKIN EXTENDS TOUR OF HIT SHOW ‘SCREWED UP’ FOR A FOURTH TIME TO MEET HUGE DEMAND FOR TICKETS

Critically-acclaimed stand-up comedian and social media record-breaker Simon Brodkin has announced extra dates for his already extended sell-out UK and European tour of his hit show Screwed Up. Dates are being added in the biggest theatres across the UK, including two extra nights at London’s Hammersmith Apollo, taking the tour to a total of 160 shows.

Tickets go on general sale on Friday 19th April. Full dates and tickets available at simonbrodkin.com

Having decided to leave the characters and the stunts behind, Simon is enjoying a break-through year, appearing on the Royal Variety Performance, breaking records on social media and establishing himself as one of Britain’s most exciting stand-up comedians.

In Screwed Up Simon rips into celebrity culture, social media, the police, Putin, Prince Andrew and explains why Winston Churchill was no better than a coked-up Millwall fan. Nothing is off limits in this hilarious show, including his own mental health, his family, his five arrests, and how he found himself at an underground sex party.

Simon has become a social media megastar and is the most viewed British stand-up comedian across various platforms, breaking records on TikTok with a routine about climate change viewed over 40 million times.

Simon made global headlines multiple times for his audacious stunts including showering Sepp Blatter with bank notes, handing Theresa May a P45, and surrounding Donald Trump with hundreds of swastika-emblazoned golf balls. Britain’s Greatest Hoaxer (Channel 4), which followed Simon as he planned and executed several stunts, was nominated for Best Documentary at the Monte Carlo TV Festival Golden Nymph Awards 2018.

Simon created the irrepressible character Lee Nelson (“comedy legend” The Sun), enjoying three hugely successful BBC series with Lee Nelson’s Well Good Show and Lee Nelson’s Well Funny People. Simon has performed on Live at the Apollo (BBC One) three times, Sunday Night at the Palladium (ITV), The John Bishop Christmas Show (BBC One), Children In Need (BBC One), Channel 4’s Comedy Gala and many more TV shows.
