LONDON –  Friday 12th April – Following a hit return to stand-up with tours in North America and Australia, the creator and star of the ground-breaking International Emmy Award®-nominated series Please Like Me (ABC2/Pivot/Hulu) and critically lauded Everything’s Gonna Be Okay (Freeform/Hulu), Josh Thomas, announces debut London and Edinburgh Festival Fringe runs with brand-new show Let’s Tidy Up.

The Australian showrunner and comedian is set to play the Underbelly Boulevard Soho from the 3rd -7th July in London, and the Pleasance Courtyard, Pleasance Two from the 31st July – 25th August at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Written with award winning playwright Lally Katz, Let’s Tidy Up is a one man show that everyone will say was about neurodiversity but is really just about Josh trying to tidy up. Well, it’s not just about tidying, there’s also gardening, gophers and a love story.

“In this show I’m going to be talking about tidying up. Which doesn’t sound very fun. But I promise it’s going to be very fun.”

“I’m looking forward to seeing you all. Let’s get lit!”

Underbelly Boulevard Soho tickets are on general sale now, and can be found online here. Edinburgh Festival Fringe tickets will be available on general-sale on Thursday 9th May.

Josh won Australia’s most prestigious comedy competition, Raw Comedy, when he was 17 years old and backed that up with his one and only Edinburgh Fringe Festival appearance as a finalist in So You Think You’re Funny. After several sell out tours and starring turns on TV panel shows, Josh turned his hand to writing, acting and producing and has garnered glowing reviews and a swag of awards for his television comedies Please Like Me and Everything’s Gonna Be Okay – in these shows, he tries to work out how to do the small stuff.

Please Like Me, is a world-renowned queer anthem and was inspired by Josh’s own life. Over four critically acclaimed seasons, Please Like Me was nominated for an International Emmy Award, GLAAD Media Award and GALECA Dorian Award.
