Friday 15th December – It was announced today that renowned prankster, award-winning comedian and Lee Nelson creator Simon Brodkin is adding extra dates to his already extended tour due to overwhelming demand for tickets, including a second show at the Hammersmith Apollo on Friday 29th November 2024, as part of his critically acclaimed and sell-out UK and European Screwed Up tour. There are also additional dates in Leeds, Cardiff, Birmingham, Glasgow, Newcastle, Brighton, Liverpool and Salford, making Screwed Up Simon’s biggest tour to date. The news arrives as Simon is set to entertain the nation on Sunday at this year’s The Royal Variety Performance (ITV1).

Tickets are on sale now. Full dates and tickets available at simonbrodkin.com

Having shed his characters and performed stand-up as himself for the very first time in his 2019 Edinburgh Fringe Show, Screwed Up is Simon’s most personal show to date. Simon explores his Russian ancestry, his recent ADHD diagnosis, and his relationship to fame – having made headlines all over the world with his notorious stunts while simultaneously being rejected by I’m A Celebrity for not being famous enough. In the show Simon also rips into celebrity culture, social media, the police, Putin, Prince Andrew and God. Nothing is off limits, including his own mental health, his family, his five arrests and how he once found himself at an underground sex party.

Last year “the world’s most famous blagger” (The Daily Telegraph) broke records on TikTok, becoming the most-viewed British stand-up comedian of all time on the platform, with one stand-up routine from last year’s Edinburgh Fringe show gaining more than 40 million views.

Star of Britain’s Greatest Hoaxer (Channel 4) Simon has made global headlines multiple times for his audacious stunts, showering disgraced FIFA president Sepp Blatter with bank notes, handing Theresa May a P45 during her speech at the Conservative Party Conference, surrounding Donald Trump at the opening of his golf course with hundreds of swastika-emblazoned golf balls, joining Kanye West on the Pyramid Stage during his headline set at Glastonbury, boarding the England team plane to the World Cup disguised as a member of the squad, renaming Sir Philip Green’s £100m superyacht the ‘BHS Destroyer’ and entering Britain’s Got Talent as an ultra-orthodox ‘Rapping Rabbi’, fooling Simon Cowell and the other judges and receiving four ‘yeses’. Britain’s Greatest Hoaxer followed Simon behind the scenes as he planned and executed several of his stunts and was nominated for Best Documentary at the Monte Carlo TV Festival Golden Nymph Awards 2018. It has been watched online almost 50 million times.

Simon created the irrepressible character and “comedy legend” (The Sun) Lee Nelson, enjoying three hugely successful BBC series with Lee Nelson’s Well Good Show and Lee Nelson’s Well Funny People. Simon has performed on Live at the Apollo (BBC One) three times, Sunday Night at the Palladium (ITV), The John Bishop Christmas Show (BBC One), Children In Need (BBC One), Channel 4’s Comedy Gala and many more TV shows.
