Fresh from her smash hit Edinburgh Fringe and Soho Theatre sell-out debut, rising star Chloe Petts announces her third solo run at London’s Soho Theatre with her brand-new show, If You Can’t Say Anything Nice, from Monday 30th October to Saturday 4th November at 9.15pm, followed by her second national tour in 2024. The UK tour will start in February 2024 and includes dates in Newcastle, Brighton, York, Cardiff, Birmingham, Oxford and Leeds, preceded by a month-long run of the show at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in August this year. Ahead of Chloe returning to the festival with her second show in two back-to-back years, If You Can’t Say Anything Nice has been highlighted as a must-see show by multiple titles including The Guardian, The Times, Evening Standard and Time Out.

Praised for her polite and well-mannered way of handling hot topics like gender and toxic masculinity in the last show, in her second hour Chloe’s returning with a newer, ruder approach to the big issues. Chloe’s debut hour in 2022 was one of the best-reviewed shows at the Fringe (British Comedy Guide), establishing her as one of the most exciting up and coming acts on the circuit and earning her a Chortle Awards, Breakthrough Act nomination.
Co-founder of The LOL Word, an all women and non-binary queer comedy collective “transforming comedy” (The Guardian) regularly hosting sell-out monthly London nights, Chloe is an alumna of the prestigious Pleasance Comedy Reserve, has been shortlisted for the BBC Comedy Award, was a finalist of Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year Awards 2017 and came runner-up in the Funny Women Awards 2017. As well as supporting Ed Gamble on his Electric 2022 UK tour, Chloe was selected to perform at this year’s Melbourne International Comedy Festival in April, before returning to the UK to complete her Transience tour with an extra date added at London’s Leicester Square Theatre due to demand.
On television, Chloe has been a regular on World Cup Breakfast (Sky Sports) for the most recent Men’s Football World Cup 2022, previously for Good Morning Euros (Sky Sports) for the UEFA Women’s Euros and returns to Sky Sports again this summer as a regular to discuss the upcoming Women’s World Cup.
