Are you looking to pursue a career in entertainment business or law? We are seeking an intern to join our Legal and Business Affairs team at Avalon Los Angeles.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN / KEY DUTIES

  • Learn key legal and business terminology
  • Assist with changes to and drafting talent and rights agreements
  • Maintain and update various Business Affairs trackers
  • Summarize closed deals on a spreadsheet
  • Maintain and organize files

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • The candidate is curious/excited to learn and has an interest in the entertainment industry
  • Proactive and a self-starter
  • Knowledge in contract and entertainment law
  • Junior or Senior in college or law student
  • Professional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Experience with, and ideally a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
