Due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation, critically acclaimed stand-up comedian and TV host Chris Ramsey has had to move the rescheduled spring leg of his sold out, twice extended Chris Ramsey 20/20 live tour, from February 2021 to February 2022. This rescheduled leg will now see Chris playing London’s iconic Hackney Empire on 4th February 2022 ending in Glasgow’s King’s Theatre on 17th May 2022. With over 100 dates, his biggest ever nationwide tour kicks off at London’s The Eventim Apollo, Hammersmith on 3rd September 2021, including a homecoming performance at Newcastle’s Utilita Arena (having filled the venue twice previously), fans can expect even more of Chris’ high energy, life affirming, trademark stand-up. Chris said, “Absolutely gutted to be moving my tour dates AGAIN. But it sadly feels like the right decision with everything still ongoing. So the spring dates of the 2020 tour will now be in spring 2022… this is absolutely the last time I will ever name a tour after the year it was written in. Fuck COVID.”
In the last year, Chris reached the semi-finals of BBC1’s Strictly Come Dancing and released a brand new stand-up special, Approval Needed, on Amazon Prime. Chris also hosted Little Mix: The Search and Children in Need (BBC1) and appeared as a regular host on The One Show (BBC1), The Chris Ramsey Show, and Stand Up Central (Comedy Central) I’m a Celebrity: Extra Camp (ITV2), and Virtually Famous (E4). He has also performed on the Royal Variety Performance (ITV), Live at the Apollo (BBC1) and as a regular on Celebrity Juice (ITV2) and more recently on Celebrity Gogglebox and Celebrity Crystal Maze (Channel 4). Chris starred as Jack in two series of critically-acclaimed sitcom Hebburn (BBC2), co-starring Vic Reeves and alongside his wife Rosie on Married to a Celebrity and Parenting for Idiots (Channel 4). Chris and Rosie launched a brand new podcast series – Shagged. Married. Annoyed which has now been downloaded over 51 million times and won the Global Awards’ Best Podcast, and British Podcast Awards Listeners’ Choice 2020. Their debut book, Sh**ged. Married. Annoyed was released on 3rd September and made The Sunday Times Number One Best Seller in its first week of sales. Chris has over 500,000 followers on Twitter.
