Amazon Prime Video is announcing today that comedy drama series Please Like Me will be available on Amazon Prime Video from 8th July in a deal with Avalon Distribution.
Written by and starring comedian Josh Thomas, the award-winning Australian TV series looks honestly at the awkward and sometimes dark moments of our lives and relationships, and finds a way to make them funny.
Josh is shocked to be dumped by his girlfriend, Claire (Caitlin Stasey, Neighbours, Reign), and even more shocked when she tells him it’s because he’s gay. He starts to realise she may have a point when he meets the odd but handsome Geoffrey (Wade Briggs, Still Star Crossed, Home and Away). The excitement of moving out with his best friend, Tom (played by his real life best friend Thomas Ward), is put on hold when Josh has to move back to the family home to deal with his mother’s (Debra Lawrance, Home and Away) mental illness.
Seasons 1 to 3 of Please Like Me will be available to Amazon Prime Video members from 8th July.
