JOE WILKINSON, star of Cats Does Countdown (Channel 4) and Him and Her (BBC Three), is to headline a third night of comedy at London’s Bloomsbury Theatre on Saturday 24th January after his shows on January 22nd and 23rd sold out in a matter of days. JOE WILKINSON is an award-winning comedian and star of 8 Out of 10 Cats (Channel 4), 8 Out of 10 Cats does Countdown (Channel 4), Celebrity Squares (ITV1) Him and Her and Live at the Electric (both BBC Three) and is currently filming Christmas specials for Miranda (BBC1) and Derek (Channel 4). It was recently announced that JOE has been nominated for a British Comedy Award in the category of Best Comedy Breakthrough Artist. He has also written and starred in two series of Two Episodes of Mash on BBC Radio 2 (series 1) and BBC Radio 4 (series 2).
As a stand-up comedian, JOE has performed in comedy clubs up and down the country to critical acclaim. For three consecutive years from 2008 JOE performed alongside DIANE MORGAN in their renowned sketch show Two Episodes of Mash. In 2011 he performed his first solo stand-up show, My Mum is Called Stella and My Dad is Called Brian, at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe which subsequently led to a nationwide tour.
