MATT FORDE is set to host a monthly celebration of sports and some of its biggest personalities with his brand-new show Matt Forde’s Sports Party. Fans of the critically acclaimed, sold-out Political Party can enjoy topical stand-up comedy and interviews with some of the most unique names in sport in a informal and intimate environment from Thursday 11th September when MATT will be joined by footballing legend, BOBBY GOULD.
A player, manager and one of the game’s most eccentric personalities, BOBBY GOULD led Wimbledon to the greatest FA Cup Final upset in history when they beat Liverpool at Wembley in 1988. He represented Arsenal, Coventry City and Wolverhampton Wanderers and as a manger won the FA Cup with Wimbledon and was Wales’ manager in a tumultuous four years that included a feud with the Manic Street Preachers. Known to millions as the co-host of ‘The Sports Bar’ with ANDY GOLDSTEIN on talkSPORT, GOULD is bursting with stories about the players he has managed, including the huge talents of RYAN GIGGS and GARY SPEED as well as rogues like DENNIS WISE and VINNIE JONES. BOBBY GOULD is a genuine one-off and this evening should prove to be a hilarious account of a wonderful career and a glittering era in football.
