It was announced today (Friday 1st August 2014) that The Grumpy Old Women will continue to knock further sense in to the nation with their brand new show on a third leg of the UK tour. Perrier Award winning comedian, writer and original star of Grumpy Old Women JENNY ECLAIR will be joined by fellow recruits SUSIE BLAKE (Mrs Brown’s Boy’s BBC One, Coronation Street ITV) and actress and singer KATE ROBBINS (Where The Heart Is ITV, Casualty BBC One). Come and bask in an orgy of fury and big laughs in over two hours of no nonsense comedy (with comfort break) for The Return of the GRUMPY OLD WOMEN: Fifty Shades of Beige. The tour resumes with an additional 27 dates on April 2nd 2015.
This jam-packed spanking new show includes… the joy of large pants, a free nagging master class (how to get your own way without him even noticing), the art of ‘Grumpy Grooming’, beards for women, which style will suit you? Complimentary Anger Management workshop, middle-aged drinking: the rules, navigating the smorgasbord of worry, voluntary euthanasia Vs. retirement, how to customise an unwanted pole dancing kit and a mercifully brief Zumba demonstration. All this and more!
Written by JENNY ECLAIR and JUDITH HOLDER (best-selling author of the first Grumpy Old Women book and producer of the hit TV series), the original stage version of Grumpy Old Women Live completed four sell-out UK tours, a hugely successful month-long West End residency, and a hit run in Australia – which, combined, sold 180,000 tickets and was released on DVD.
** SPECIAL OFFER! – ticket price includes automatic membership to the Grumpy Club (Great Britain)**

What the Press have said about Grumpy Old Women:
“An evening of Olympic-class whingeing about the state of the world, the collapse of good manners and the general ineptitude of men … Some of the mediations on mortality and the fading of desire could almost have been lifted from a Beckett play.” Clive Davis, The Times
“The writing is stiletto sharp. Great gales of laughter greet every admission and shared middle-aged secret.” Robert Gore Langton, Daily Mail
“Warmhearted, witty, empathetic and, dare I say it, rather empowering.” Kathryn Flett, The Observer
“The show is simply uproarious. It is big, brash and colourful, riding on a wave of warmth and empathy.” Pat Ashworth, The Stage
