Edinburgh Comedy Newcomer Award winner and star of brand new Channel 4 sitcom Man Down ROISIN CONATY takes her solo show Lifehunter on her first ever UK tour this autumn. Lifehunter explores how everyone in life is looking for something; to belong, to love, to forget, and also keys. People spend a lot of time looking for their keys. Poxy things.
ROISIN is set to star as Jo in GREG DAVIES’ hotly-anticipated Friday-night primetime sitcom Man Down, alongside GREG, RIK MAYALL and MIKE WOZNIAK. She has starred in BBC Three’s Impractical Jokers with PAUL MCCAFFREY, JOEL DOMMETT and MAREK LARWOOD, a second series is set to air next year. Other television credits include Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC Three), Have I Got News For You (BBC One), Dave’s One Night Stand (DAVE), Victoria Wood’s Angina Monologues (Sky 1) and Show and Tell (E4). ROISIN has also appeared on The News Quiz, It’s Your Round and Arthur Smith’s Balham Bash all for BBC Radio 4. She has her own pilot on Channel 4 set for broadcast in 2014.
ROISIN CONATY is a multi-talented writer and performer who has received rave reviews at the prestigious Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Edinburgh Comedy Festival. After winning the Edinburgh Comedy Newcomer Award, ROISIN went on to win the Laughing Horse New Act Award and was a finalist in the Amused Moose and Funny Women Competitions.
