It was announced today (04 June 2014) that Flame Television is building on its ratings winner The Nightmare Neighbour Next Door, with a recommission from Channel 5. The first series told the traumatic, shocking, humorous and occasionally bizarre experiences of victims of nightmare neighbours and topped the channel’s ratings every week with an average of 1.7m viewers.

JAMIE ISAACS, CEO Avalon Television Factual, said: “The first series was a great experience from start to finish; a quick decision to commission, a supportive channel and Michele and Matt did an exceptional job. Channel 5 is an exciting channel right now and we are delighted to be making more shows.”

Executive Producers for Flame are MICHELE CARLISLE and MATT GORDON, with GUY TEMPLETON series producing. The programme has been commissioned by BEN FROW and EMMA WESTCOTT for Channel 5. The next series is due to air in the autumn.
