Award-winning comedian Ed Gamble has added a third extra show to his sold out Edinburgh run having already added and sold out two extra shows due to overwhelming demand. Ed’s fifth solo stand-up show Blizzard will then embark on a 44-date nationwide tour from January 2019.

Ed first came to prominence starring in two series of Almost Royal (BBC America/E4), which has found an ever-growing and enthusiastic fan base since its release on Netflix. As well as featuring in 19 episodes of Mock The Week (BBC Two), Ed’s credits include guest appearances on The Apprentice: You’re Fired (BBC Two), Roast Battle UK (Comedy Central), Drunk History (Comedy Central) and The Chris Ramsey Show (Comedy Central), stand-up appearances on The Russell Howard Hour (Sky One), Live at the Comedy Store (Comedy Central), Russell Howard’s Stand Up Central (Comedy Central), Conan (TBS) and Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC Two), as well as starring in two episodes and co-writing the fourth series of Man Down (Channel 4).

At last year’s Festival Fringe, Ed’s fourth solo show Mammoth sold out its entire run and extra performances were added to meet demand, before he embarked on his second nationwide sell-out tour. He has also completed runs at the New Zealand Comedy Festival and Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, which he has returned to this year.
