Jason Bent is now set to tour alongside Lee Nelson in a brand new live stand-up show. He hit the headlines last month when he found himself on the pitch warming up alongside Manchester City football players. The surge in popularity has seen clips of Jason Bent viewed more than a million times on You Tube and saw him trending on Twitter last week, during a live Q&A to promote the current BBC Three TV series, Lee Nelson’s Well Funny People, in which the character features. Both Jason Bent and Lee Nelson are character creations of comedian SIMON BRODKIN.
The brand new 31-date nationwide stand-up tour, including London’s Indig02, kicks off on 28th April. Lee Nelson’s Well Funny People is on BBC Three, Thursday nights, 10.00pm.
