As a television and radio performer, FRANK SKINNER has hosted three series of Frank Skinner’s Opinionated for BBC Two, wrote and starred in two series of the critically-acclaimed comedy drama series Don’t Start for BBC Radio 4 and created The Frank Skinner Show (ITV), which is widely credited as setting the tone for the modern comedic chat show and ran for nine years, attracting 11 million viewers at its peak. He has twice hosted Have I Got News for You, presented a documentary investigating the life of GEORGE FORMBY (BBC Four) and authored a Panorama (BBC One) special on taste and decency.

WHAT THE PRESS HAVE SAID ABOUT FRANK SKINNER

“You could put Skinner down in front of any audience at any time and he would have it in stitches…a joyous saboteur of television’s bloated sense of self importance whose timeless classical bawdiness embraces all alternative and mainstream tastes.”
The Guardian

“Frank is a terrifically gifted individual who consistently out-funnies his contemporaries.” Mail On Sunday

“raucously hilarious” Chortle

“Only a curmudgeon would fail to be impressed by this cracking comeback.”
The Daily Telegraph

“This show is a timely reminder of just why the Black Country comic stood out from the crowd in the first place. Welcome back Frank.” Metro

“This is a terrific, feel-good show…He can still do it, old Frank. He is warm, relaxed, down-to-earth and properly funny…It is hilarious stuff. Skinner’s delivery is so gentle, so friendly, that there is no sense of the judgmental, of ridiculing. And that actually makes it much funnier. This is the work of a seriously skilled stand-up”
The Scotsman

“Ten years have elapsed since Frank Skinner’s last major stand-up gig, at Battersea Power Station. But in the intervening decade, the comedian has lost none of his charisma or razor-sharp wit”. The Independent

“You could put Skinner down in front of any audience at any time and he would
have it in stitches.”
Waldemar Januszczak

“Britain’s sharpest comic mind.” Andy Coulson
