FOSTER'S EDINBURGH COMEDY AWARD NOMINEE CARL DONNELLY EMBARKS ON FIRST EVER UK TOUR

CARL DONNELLY will embark on his first ever national tour this October with the 2013 Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Award nominated Now That’s What I Carl Donnelly! Volume V.

Sartorially resplendent in Cuban heels and tight jeans and with a wedge most Fresh Prince fans would die for, CARL will relive his foray into life as a moustachioed vegan, describe getting a little too relaxed during Masterchef: The Professionals, and remember his camaraderie with an emu. He will also turn his conversational and surreal sense of humour to current affairs including equal marriage and Operation Yewtree.

Nominated for the 2013 Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Award with Now That’s What I Carl Donnelly! Volume V, and for Best Newcomer in 2009, CARL is a firm favourite with festival-goers. His unique wit and style have also seen him win Chortle Best Newcomer and Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year and perform at some of the biggest comedy festivals in the world including; Montreal Just for Laughs, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Sydney Comedy Festival and Kilkenny Cat Laughs.

Away from the live stage, CARL and fellow-comic CHRIS MARTIN present the popular Carl Donnelly and Chris Martin Comedy Podcast. Available to listen to at Soundcloud and iTunes, the podcast has over 50,000 subscribers and recent guests have included BO BURNHAM, RUSSELL KANE and SCROOBIUS PIP.

With appearances on: Mock The Week (BBC Two), Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC Three), Stand Up For The Week (Channel 4) and Dave’s One Night Stand, CARL has become a familiar face on TV screens. His radio credits include: Fighting Talk, The Back End of Next Week (both BBC Radio 5Live) Loose Ends (BBC Radio 4) and Act Your Age (BBC Radio 4), CARL is also a regular guest on TalkSPORT.

Now That’s What I Carl Donnelly! Volume V will run from 4th October 2013 – 28th March 2014
