It was announced today (13th November 2017) that Dave Gorman is set to embark on brand new tour With Great Powerpoint Comes Great Responsibilitypoint in Autumn 2018. Over twenty-six dates, Dave will combine his unique style of stand-up and visual story-telling at some of the biggest theatres in the country including London’s prestigious Royal Festival Hall (Southbank Centre) on the 31st October. This will be Dave’s first new live tour show in four years and follows on from Dave Gorman Gets Straight To The Point* (*The Power Point), which went on a two-time extended sell-out UK nationwide tour, including four shows at the Queen Elizabeth Hall and a date of the Hammersmith Apollo and to New York for a ten-night run off-Broadway.
As the title suggests, he’s bringing his laptop and projector screen with him so expect the ‘King of Powerpoint comedy’ (Guardian) to have more detailed analysis of those parts of life you’ve never stopped to think about before. Hey, not all heroes wear capes.
The news coincides with ratings and critical hit, Dave Gorman Modern Life Is Goodish recently returning to Dave for a fifth series. After attracting a peak of 1.5 million viewers and regularly receiving a total audience of over a million per episode in series four, the show is one of UKTV’s most successful original commissions.

Along with the Dave Gorman Gets Straight To The Point* (*The Power Point) tour, Dave’s live career has seen him sell out multiple tours of the UK, have two six-week runs off Broadway in New York extended to three months, complete a successful four-month tour of the USA and become responsible for the fastest selling show in the history of the Studio Theatre at The Sydney Opera House.
