CRAIG CAMPBELL THRILLING MIC HUNT EXTENDED INTO 2014
CRAIG CAMPBELL THRILLING MIC HUNT EXTENDED INTO 2014

Internationally acclaimed stand-up and master storyteller CRAIG CAMPBELL is set to extend his brand new tour, Thrilling Mic Hunt, into spring 2014 by a further 31 dates. Tickets go on general sale on Tuesday 3rd December; on the same date CRAIG will perform the show at London’s Bloomsbury Theatre.

Surfing the awesome momentum of the digital-only release of his Channel 4 DVD Craig Campbell Live recorded at London’s Bloomsbury Theatre, a continuing lumberific Lumberjack tour and another Edin-ormous Edinburgh festival run, our merry Moose returns with more rib-tickling stories of life as a perpetually fun-seeking middle aged manchild. It’s time to grab an adventurous date, launch your laughter canoe and ride Campbell’s comedy creek while it’s in full flood!

In October 2014 CRAIG is set to perform as part of the world’s highest comedy gig Stand Up on Everest at Mount Everest Base Camp at 5365m above sea level. STEWART FRANCIS, GLENN WOOL, TERRY ALDERTON, SIMON EVANS and a Special Guest will be joined by up to fifty eager fans on a gruelling nine day trek high into the Nepal Himalaya in aid of the charity Save the Children.

CRAIG recently supported FRANKIE BOYLE on his 120 date nationwide tour and has performed on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow (BBC One), Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC Three), and was responsible for easing the contractions of an expectant mother who laughed so hard at his performance on Dave’s One Night Stand (Dave) – which detailed an encounter with a badger – that her waters broke.

CRAIG was the host of Canada’s legendary Ed’s Night Party, and headline guest on numerous Canadian TV shows including Jim Carrey Live, The Dennis Miller Show and Just for Laughs. He is a firm fringe favourite having made his Edinburgh debut alongside TONY LAW and DAN ANTOPOLSKI as part of comedy trio The Dinks which achieved great critical and box office success, leading to an invitation to perform in the Best Of Edinburgh programme in New York. He has supported RICH HALL on his international tour and has had two successful solo shows in Edinburgh. In 2012, and after a 15 year break, CRAIG and his fellow Canadian comedians STEWART FRANCIS and GLENN WOOL took the Edinburgh Fringe by storm with the reprisal of their critically acclaimed show, Return of the Lumberjacks.
