Stephen Morrison is a comedy writer, actor and author.

Stephen has most recently written for and starred in Greg Davies’ sitcom Man Down for Channel 4, which returned for a third series in 2016. Other television writing credits include Russell Howard’s Good News (BBC2), Rude Tube (E4), DNN (CBBC), TV OD (ITV2), Anna and Katy (Channel 4), Mock The Week (BBC Two), Show And Tell (E4), Rule of 3 (BBC One Pilot), Meet The Parents (Channel 4), Ronni Ancona & Co (BBC One) and Touch Me, I’m Karen Taylor (BBC Three).

Radio credits include all six series of the Saturday afternoon show Out To Lunch (BBC Radio 2), The Consultants (BBC Radio 4) The Milk Run (BBC Radio 1) as well as writing and performing on the Sandy Toksvig Show (LBC).

He is also a regular writer for the popular satire website The Daily Mash, and has written content for their book Welcome to the Mental Hospital.

Co-written with Alex Jenkins, Stephen’s first book, The Regional Accounts Director Of Firetop Mountain, a spoof “choose your own adventure,” was published in September 2008 by Transworld.

Stephen first made his name on the stand-up circuit, appearing in the BBC New Comedian of the Year Final (BBC Choice) and in The Daily Telegraph Open Mic Final (Five).
