Ross King made his first stage performance aged 5, first radio broadcast at the age of 15 and television debut at 17. He was the Entertainment anchor on KTLA/The CW Channel 5’s Prime News in America for five years, winning four Emmys and a Golden Globe mic award. Ross is currently based in Los Angeles and is the LA Showbiz Correspondent on ITV’s Good Morning Britain and Lorraine. He is a much-loved face on Australia’s Channel 9.
Years as an entertainment reporter have seen Ross fly around the world filming in Europe, America, the Caribbean and South Africa, hosting TV specials from the Academy Awards and Cannes Film Festival. His relaxed and informal style has achieved some of the best interviews with many of the world’s biggest stars including Robin Williams, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Catherine Zeta Jones, Clint Eastwood, Charlton Heston, Shirley MacLaine, Sean Connery, Elton John and George Michael. Never one to miss an opportunity, he has also “sung and danced” with Diana Ross, Donald O’Connor and Debbie Reynolds!

Ross’s has appeared as ‘Toby MacWiry’ in Dick Whittington at the Sadlers West End Theatre, ‘Frank N Furter’ in the 25th Anniversary Tour of The Rocky Horror Show at the London Palladium, the national tour of Summer Holiday - he created the role of ‘Wallace’, Charley’s Aunt, Joseph, Butterfly Children and Guys and Dolls.
As an actor, Ross has appeared in The Day After Tomorrow, Half Past Dead, Trust Me and Cruel Game. He voiced the role of ‘Jinkins’ in Star Wards, Jedi Fighter 2 for Lucas Films. Ross starred in and co-wrote the film ‘Do It For Uncle Manny’ which was awarded ‘Best Screen Play’ at the New York Independent Film Festival.
Ross won an Emmy Award for his coverage of the 74th Annual Hollywood Christmas Parade and was Executive Producer for Escape and Hooray for Hollywood. Ross teamed up with Scottish author Shari Law to co-write the novel Taking Hollywood which was published by Pan Macmillan in August 2014 and reached #4 on the Amazon Best Seller’s chart. The sequel Breaking Hollywood was published in 2015.
