Emily Dean is co-host to Frank Skinner on his two-time Sony Gold Award-winning Absolute Radio show which broadcasts every Saturday from 8 â€" 10am. She is also the Deputy Editor of InStyle magazine.

During the 2013 Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Emily co-hosted the Fringe in 5 interviews with Russell Kane, where they interviewed comedians and other famous faces at the fringe. In that summer, she also presented the This Morning News Review on ITV. Emily now hosts the online series Footballers’ Wines, where she discusses wine and football with the stars of the pitch.

A child actress, Emily attended the Anna Scher children’s theatre in London and appeared in a variety of TV, radio and film productions â€" including cult BBC series The Day of the Triffids, the films Memoirs of a Survivor with Julie Christie, SOS Titanic with Helen Mirren, and the popular ITV drama series Nanny.

After graduating from University with an English Literature degree, Emily started her career at The Sunday Times newspaper and Sunday Times Magazine before joining the Mail on Sunday’s You magazine as Showbusiness Editor. During this time she appeared regularly on Nickelodeon reporting on entertainment. Her career in journalism continued at the Sunday Express magazine, where she became Deputy Editor and the Evening Standard’s ES magazine where she was Editor-at-Large. Throughout this time she made regular appearances as a guest alongside host Claudia Winkleman on Liquid News (BBC Three).

In 2003 she moved into television production as Features Editor for This Morning (ITV1), after which she worked for Hotsauce TV as a co-producer on C4’s Big Fat Quiz of the Year, which she co-produced for five successive years, as well as the Big Fat Anniversary Quiz (also Channel 4).

Venturing into radio broadcasting in 2009, Emily became the much-loved co-host to Frank Skinner on his Absolute Radio flagship Saturday breakfast show, which went on to win a Sony Gold Award for Best Entertainment Programme in 2011 and has seen podcast downloads increase from 6.5 to 12.7 million in the last twelve months. It has remained a firm favourite and continues into 2014.

In 2010 Emily joined InStyle magazine, the glossy fashion and style title as Deputy Editor. As well as her regular role on Absolute Radio, she also continues to contribute to fashion and style programmes such as BBC News 24, where she discussed Oscar fashion, and the E! Entertainment channel where she contributed on their royal wedding build-up. In 2011, she took part as a panellist in a new BBC One pilot, Rule of Three hosted by Rebecca Front, which also featured Chris Addison and Russell Howard.
