A SWEET LINE UP ANNOUNCED FOR THE SECOND SERIES OF ITV’S SUGAR FREE FARM

A brand new cast of famous faces will undergo a challenging dietary experiment: living entirely without sugar, refined carbohydrates, cheap meat, bad fats and all processed foods for 15 consecutive days, in the second series of ITV’s Sugar Free Farm, set to air in January 2017.

The four part prime-time series will see seven famous faces push their bodies to the limit as they live in a farm worker’s cottage in Hampshire, and do hard graft in exchange for only the natural, wholesome food they produce themselves. This time around the challenge is bigger, tougher and longer as they go cold turkey on not just sugar, but all refined carbohydrates, plus the cheap meat and bad fats hidden in so much processed food.  Instead they’ll embrace a completely new, healthy lifestyle.

Stepping up to the sugar free plate include the fifth incarnation of Doctor Who and star of classic drama series All Creatures Great and Small, Peter Davison, former Conservative Party MP and Strictly’s very own twinkle toes, Ann Widdecombe, much loved comedian and King of the Jungle, Joe Pasquale, This Morning’s resident showbiz reporter, Alison Hammond, star of TOWIE, Gemma Collins and Britain’s Got Talent finalists, father and son dance duo, Stavros Flatley.

Under the watchful eye of the show’s new nutritionist, Hala El-Shafie, will the sugar craving celebrities survive the gruelling challenge and change their unhealthy eating habits for good?

Sugar Free Farm is produced by Liberty Bell Productions for ITV.

Sugar Free Farm starts on ITV in January 2017
